Celebrities Watch Burberry Light Up NYC
There has always been a link between celebrities and fashion, and last night some of Hollywood’s hottest names were in the house for the Burberry Day event.
Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy arrived at the Palace Hotel in New York City looking very loved-up as they smiled and posed for the paparazzi.
Another celebrity couple, Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, also made an appearance, both looking city chic in black/grey ensembles.
Australian eye candy Orlando Bloom gave the ladies something to swoon over as he hammed it up in the arrivals area in a trench coat/vest combo, while ladies like Emmanuelle Chriqui, Rose McGowan and Helena Christensen were looking their best.

Blake @ 2009 CW Network Upfronts
Gossip Girl starlet Blake Lively is smokin’ hot in an Adam jumper short at the 2009 CW Network Upfronts at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Thursday (May 21).
The 21-year-old actress has been on enjoying her time off from work and exclusively told JustJared.com about her hiatus.
“I’ve traveled all over Asia,” Blake shared,
“I went to Thailand, India and Maldives. I stayed at the most incredible place in the Maldives called Soneva Gili and you have to take a boat to get to your glass-bottom hut in the middle of the water. It’s gorgeous!”
Ms. Lively didn’t stay idle while trekking through Asia.
“I’m half-way to getting my scuba license and I went to cooking school in Thailand,” she shared. “I never get time to do things like cook and travel, so now I have two months off and I’m trying to take advantage of it as much as I can.”
When asked if she took back any sourveniers from Asia, Blake told JustJared.com,
“Yeah, we actually rode elephants barefoot and washed them one-on-one in the river. It’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever done. I got a painting that an elephant made for me and that is definitely my most prized possession. And some beautiful jewelry from India!”

Blake and Penn Paint the Town Green at Shrek
Gossip Girl co-stars and real-life couple Blake Lively and Penn Badgley painted the town green on May 9.
That’s when the toothsome twosome did up date night Broadway style by attending Shrek the Musical and then heading backstage to congratulate the cast on their big, bright, beautiful show. And these two easy-on-the-eyes stars know from beautiful! Take a look as the pair shared a few laughs with Shrek star Brian d’Arcy James backstage at the Broadway Theatre.

Far From Frumpy
Okay I hate tabloids, but this is what it’s in the news about Blake and the gala at the Met:
Blake, clad in a blue Versace dream of a dress, was very happy with her choice, telling reporters, “I just love deep blue. I think it’s so stunning. Everything about this dress, I just love.”
It fit in with her personal style, which Blake describes as a constant evolution.
“It’s always changing, but I always tend to look for something more ethereal and flowy and not as straight,” she tells OK!. “I don’t like anything too frumpy.”
